WEBSITE REBUILDS · SOUTHERN ONTARIO

Keep the business. Replace the website that is underselling it.

A rebuild is for an established business with real reputation, real customers and a website that no longer reflects either. Second Coat keeps what is useful, rewrites what is unclear and rebuilds the customer experience around the business you have now.

WHEN A REBUILD MAKES SENSE

You may not need a new brand. You may need a website that finally explains the one you already built.

The starting point is the current site: what customers still need, what can be kept, what is actively hurting trust and what the new site must make easier.

The site looks older than the business

A strong company can lose credibility in seconds when the website feels neglected. The rebuild fixes the first impression without pretending the business itself needs reinventing.

Customers cannot find the answer

Services, locations, hours, proof and the next step should not require detective work. Structure and copy are rebuilt around what a real customer needs to decide.

The platform is fighting you

Slow page builders, stale plugins, awkward mobile layouts and fragile forms can make ordinary updates risky. A cleaner build removes unnecessary machinery.

WHAT ACTUALLY GETS REBUILT

Design is only one layer.

A useful rebuild deals with the words, hierarchy, mobile experience, search foundations and technical mess underneath the visible page. The published package covers up to six standard pages, with the exact boundaries shown on the pricing section before you ever contact us.

WHAT THE WORK COVERS

  • Site structure and navigation
  • Copy rewritten around the real business
  • Custom page design and responsive build

THE RESULT

A website that makes the business easier to choose.

The finish should feel specific to the company, but the business result is straightforward: a clearer first impression, fewer questions left unanswered and an obvious next step.

Clearer

A visitor should understand what you do, who it is for and where you work without reading the entire site.

More credible

Good typography, real photography, useful proof and disciplined copy make the online impression match the quality of the business.

Easier to act on

Calls, forms, booking or buying should happen at the moment the customer is ready, not after hunting for the contact page.

REAL LOCAL CONTEXT

The geography changes. The rebuild problem is remarkably consistent.

Second Coat is based in Port Dover, with Aaryn working from central London. Rebuild projects can be handled remotely across Southern Ontario, with in-person meetings arranged when seeing the business, the space or the workflow will make the result better.

For Norfolk and Simcoe businesses, Port Dover is home base. Scott also lived in Hamilton for years and understands that a Westdale professional practice, an Ancaster home-service business and an industrial east-end company are speaking to different customers. In London, Aaryn gives Second Coat a real local technical presence when a rebuild touches systems or software.

The site still has one job everywhere: make a strong business easier to understand and easier to choose. Location matters because customers and examples differ, not because a city name should be stuffed into every paragraph.

QUESTIONS ABOUT WEBSITE REBUILDS

What people need to know before they call.

Can you rebuild my website without changing the business name or brand?

Yes. A rebuild can keep the name, logo, useful photography and any content that still earns its place. The point is to replace the dated structure, weak copy and technical baggage around the business, not force a rebrand for the sake of one.

What happens to the old URLs and Google results?

Where practical, useful existing URLs are kept or redirected to the most relevant new page. Page titles, descriptions and internal links are rebuilt deliberately. A redesign should not casually throw away search value the old site already earned.

Do you rebuild WordPress sites?

Yes, but the replacement does not have to remain on WordPress. I first look at what you actually need to edit and maintain. The new setup should be the simplest one that meets that requirement without recreating the plugin pile that caused the problem.

How much of my old copy do you use?

Whatever is accurate, useful and specific to the business can stay as source material. I rewrite the customer-facing pages so the new site reads as one coherent thing rather than a collection of old sections moved into a new template.
