You provide: website and hosting access, domain access if DNS is involved, and any clean backup already available.
Not included: guaranteed recovery, paid security licences, a redesign, mailbox or device incident response, legal forensics or custom recovery beyond the website.
Where the price changes: the published price covers up to one hour of diagnosis and a first repair or clean-up attempt for one website. If full recovery needs more time, work stops and the next step is priced before anything continues.

Common questions.
Can you guarantee that a hacked website can be recovered?
No. Some websites can be cleaned safely; others depend on obsolete software, compromised hosting or missing backups. The rescue includes a reasonable clean-up attempt where recovery makes sense, but Second Coat won't promise a safe restoration before seeing the condition of the site.
Do you need my password for the free Second Look?
No. The free Second Look uses the public website only. If you hire Second Coat for a rescue, access is arranged for the agreed work and you should revoke credentials or access that's no longer needed after the project.
What if the problem is email or the domain rather than the website?
Second Coat can check whether the website problem appears connected to DNS or hosting, but mailbox incidents, device compromise, formal forensics and legal incident response are outside the standard rescue scope. We'll say when the problem belongs with a different specialist.
Will a rescue make the site faster too?
Basic performance problems are noted and obvious waste may be cleaned up when it's part of the same repair. A full performance rebuild, redesign or platform migration is a separate scope if the old site needs more than stabilization.
